Ahead of major shed and dwelling constructions, RAAF Base Tindal’s sewer infrastructure required urgent remediation. Extensive damage to sewer pipes and pits prompted Pattemore Constructions to partner with Nuflow Darwin to restore the network’s integrity and support upcoming developments.
The Challenge
Inspections of the sewer system identified:
- Root infiltration into pipes and pits, compromising sewer flow and function.
- Cracks in the system, posing risks of further damage if not addressed.
These issues needed resolving before construction could proceed, without causing delays to the project timeline.
The Solution
Nuflow Darwin carried out an extensive trenchless remediation plan, including:
- 450 meters of 150mm pipe relining to strengthen the mainline sewer.
- Installation of 12 junction liners to seal and protect key connection points.
The process provided a reliable, non-invasive repair solution, ensuring long-term system durability.
